When u give me k-k-kisses..........

Five pairs of heels, one pair of boots and a dress later.... so I went on a bit of an insane spending spree on Saturday! In my defence, I did have to suffer through an entire week of exams - but no more exams now. Ever. EVERRRRRR!!!!!!!! Well at least I hope =P

Of course, I had caught the bus into the city to go shopping and had to get home the same way. Struggling onto a packed bus with around six shopping bags in tow was a hilarious sight to some... I'm sure they thought I was out of my tree. Ironically, I had just watched Confessions of a Shopaholic the night before too. Clearly it didn't have the deterrent effect I had hoped it would.

So anyway, the dress is from Wheels & Dollbaby and is absolutely gorgeous... I bought it for an upcoming wedding. I am trying this new thing where I don't leave dress shopping for important events till the absolute last second... only to find out that nothing appeals to me, or that everything in my size has sold out!

P.S. How many pairs of shoes is "normal" for a woman to own anyway? Apparently I have to get rid of some of my old shoes now to make room for these babies... Hmmm my shoe collection has kind of spiralled out of control lately............................

My ballerina fetish... it's been going on for a few years now. It all started with the Wheels & Dollbaby Minnie Mouse dress... ah memories! Anyway, I know we'd all kill for the Balmain dresses up there, but seriously... let's be realistic! The Pascucci Couture dress released this week isn't a bad (short) version of the Balmain dress, I'll have to check it out instore when I get a chance!

Meanwhile it's after 2:30am and I think I should get some sleep for once...

Wheels and dollbaby love...

Anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely head-over-heels obsessed with Wheels & Dollbaby... and what sane person wouldn't be? Apparently their new collection will be hitting their Darlinghurst store (and their website) this Friday!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if the release will be staggered or not, but Karen Cheng has been able to get a sneak preview of a few garments in the new collection:

In other news, I had a sudden urge to buy swimwear yesterday (yes, I know it's winter here... wishful thinking maybe) so the ol' credit card took a hit on the Victoria's Secret website... but it doesn't count because it was on sale!!!!! Guess how many bikinis out of the 4 I bought were leopard print.......... hmm...........

Every day and night...

Day: Emanuella military knit coat; Chanel bag; Diva rosebud ring; Santini chain flats

Night: Same coat, bag & ring + Sass & Bide military dress; Doc Marten boots

So I did the whole day to night thing with my outfit, went to breakfast down at the beach in the morning and then out to grab some Chinese with friends at night. The thought did cross my mind to throw on my new 5" suede boots, but I would have been seriously overdressed for the local Chinese takeaway joint. So I opted for my Docs, which my mum actually bought for me earlier this year - they are so chunky & masculine but I think that's why I love them so much. I've only worn them a couple of times, I like to balance them out with something really girly on top because I don't want to come out looking too macho / masculine (I don't have the most feminine features to be able to get away with that)

I would give anything to wear this gorgeous Jil Sander dress... I have no idea if the label is even stocked in Sydney, plus I'm sure the price tag would rule it out as a viable option! I plan on settling for this version of the dress by local designer Juliet in Stilettos. With a price tag of around $250 it'll be a steal! Holding my breath for when it arrives instore!!

Primal instinct

One thing that you'll probably catch onto quite quickly is that I am obsessed with leopard print. Totally, utterly obsessed. I know sometimes it can come off a bit gaudy and over the top, but I guess in some ways that's part of the appeal... I think my look can come off a bit edgy sometimes, and sometimes I'm sure it's just plain wrong, but I guarantee you no matter what I wear, it's a whole lot of fun throwing it together and wearing it out! Ooh you can't really tell from the photos, but the dress has a sexy scoop-back... I love it!

Wearing: Supre dress, Siren heels, Tiffanys dog tag necklace, leather buckled cuff from Florence, worn with Sass & Bide denim jacket
